QWhat is “Support Units”?
These are dedicated bearing components designed to be used exclusively in combination with ball screws.
The support units in the Economy series offer two types of bearings for the fixed side.
For applications involving high axial loads, select a product equipped with angular contact bearings.
For low to medium axial loads, choose a product with radial bearings.

Ball Screw Supports / Motor Brackets Below are the procedures and precautions for assembly: Motor Brackets Ball Screw Supports /
1. Preparation Before Assembly
P.03-047 Perform the assembly in a clean, dry environment free from dust and moisture. Avoid locations with significant temperature fluctuations. P.03-047
Ensure the workspace is clean and prepare all necessary tools on the workbench.
Lead Screws 2. Inspection of Shaft and Support Units Lead Screws
Check that there is no dust, debris, burrs, or foreign matter on the shaft surface or inside the bearing bore of the support unit. If burrs or
sharp edges are present, remove them using an oil stone or similar tool, and thoroughly clean away any chips or residue.
